Irudhi Suttru directed by Sudha Kongara featuring Madhavan, Ritika Singh and others is hitting the right notes all over lapping up good words on the way.
One more feather in their already decorated plumage comes in the form of a statement from none other than the boxing giant Mike Tyson who had expressed in his official social media page, “I'd like to see this boxing film”.
Sharing her happiness, director Sudha says, “This is my happiest moment because the coach (Maddy)’s nature is based on Tyson. Of several inspirations for my characterizations for the film, this was the biggest”.
She furthers, “Tyson had the same kind of a volatile relationship with his coach who picked him up from a rough life and gave him asylum in his house. Tyson said after his coach's death – “the day I listened to my coach , I would win and the day I didn't, I would invariably lose". That was the crux of this film. A coach is equal to a God in boxing specially".
Way to go Sudha Kongara and Team Irudhi Suttru!
