Bollywood producer Karim Morani who has reportedly surrendered to the Hyderabad police on Friday night after the supreme court refused to grant him an anticipatory bail with respect to the rape case, has denied all charges against him when he was investigated.
The producer of Chennai Express had been accused of raping a 25 year old aspiring actress from Delhi. When investigated, he has reportedly denied such charges. According to Bollywood media, he has said, “I do not have a sexual relationship with anybody other than my wife”. The call data, emails exchanged and their chat have all been placed as evidence before him by those who were investigating him.
After the Supreme Court denied producer Karim Morani's bail plea, he surrendered to the Police in Hayathnagar around midnight yesterday. He has been charged in connection with a rape case.
Karim Morani is a famous filmmaker who has produced films like Chennai Express and Ra One. He is facing the charge of assaulting a Delhi-based aspiring actress. The 25-year-old aspiring actress alleged that he repeatedly raped her by blackmailing to post her private pictures on social media.
Apparently, the 25-year old victim in her statement has said, "He repeatedly drugged and raped me. He threatened to shoot me and blackmailed me with nude pictures of mine which he had clicked."
