Thalapathy Vijay's sports-drama Bigil is having a dashing run in the theatres currently. Directed by Atlee, the film is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment and features AR Rahman's music.
The film has many key roles apart from Vijay, and the pillars of this sports-drama are the 'Bigil' football girls. Amritha, who played the role of the captain of the team in the film, had an interaction with Behindwoods where she shared interesting details on the shooting days of the film and the experience of working with Vijay.
When asked about the reception she is receiving after the film, she said that everyone is appreciating her role. Amritha shared that one of her best experience in the film was when they shot the '1 vs 11' scene with Vijay. "He did it with ease, we were surprised" she stated.
Talking about Atlee, she said that she likes him as a director and as a person. "Despite being such a big director, he'll take initiative and cared about each of us". Amritha also added that Atlee strives to give equal importance to all characters and that she admires that about him.
Post Bigil, there had been a success party among the team members, and when asked about that Amritha shared that everyone had lot of fun there. "I love dancing and I was there dancing from 9:30 pm to 3 in the night" she stated. "Vijay sir was there, but he did not dance, he was just enjoying the mood" said Amritha.
