Actress Kasturi was recently seen as the participant of the ongoing Tamil reality show Bigg Boss 3, in which she entered through the wild card option. During her brief stint in the show, Kasturi displayed a straightforward attitude and bold candour.
Recently, the actress commented about the recent controversy faced by the forthcoming sports drama Bigil, which stars Vijay as the male lead. The Department of Higher Education issued a notice against the proprietors of Sairam College of Engineering, the venue that hosted the audio launch function of Bigil.
The notice questioned the institution about the basis on which the permission was granted for this event to be conducted. Kasturi commented about the issue in her official Twitter account, saying that the government has started providing free publicity to the film.

Touted to be a sports drama, Bigil is written and directed by Atlee. The venture is bankrolled by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment. Bigil is expected to release on Diwali 2019.
