It is the season of elections. The South Indian Film Artistes Association (Nadigar Sangam) is currently gearing up for the upcoming elections that is going to be held on June 23rd.
The two strong opposition teams - Vishal’s Pandavar Ani consisting of actors Nasser, Karthi, Karunas, and Ponvannan will be challenged by the newly formed Swami Sankaradas Ani headed by veteran actor and filmmaker K. Bhagyaraj (President), Dr.Isari K Ganesh (Secretary), Kutty Padmini and Udaya (Vice Presidents).
Today, actor Bhagyaraj’s new team, Swami Sankaradas Ani, went to the former Nadigar Sangam President and DMDK party chief, Vijayakanth in order to seek blessings and support from him. At a press meet, Bhagyaraj has confirmed that Vijayakanth has extended his support and has wished this newly formed team to win the upcoming election.
Meanwhile, film shootings will be halted on June 23 in order to ensure the maximum amount of voter participation in the polls.
