The sports-drama also features Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Anandraj, Daniel Balaji, Kathir and others in prominent roles. The film is bankrolled by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment.

On the technical front, Bigil is shot by 'Mersal' cinematographer G.K. Vishnu while Ruben and Muthuraj handles the editing and art departments respectively. The music is composed by AR Rahman.

As the whole world is waiting to watch Rayappan, Michael and Bigil on the big screens tomorrow, one of Bigil’s villain, Daniel Balaji has taken to his social media and shared an unseen behind the scene picture from the shoot.
