Dhanush's Maari 2, co-starring Sai Pallavi, Tovino Thomas, Varu Sarathkumar, Krishna, and Robo Shankar, is directed by Balaji Mohan, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
 

Balaji Mohan made an important update about the film, saying that they are targeting to release the film in the second half of 2018.
