It was announced yesterday that ace director Bala would be helming Arjun Reddy's Tamil remake starring Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv. The movie will be bankrolled by Mukesh Ratilal Mehta of E 4 Entertainment.

As we all know the movie is an official remake of Arjun Reddy, this is the first time director Bala would be doing a remake in his 18 years film career. The top directors in the industry wouldn't prefer doing remakes, but, Shankar and Bala are the two directors who have broke the cliche'. The most interesting fact in this is Director Shankar also did the same by remaking 3 Idiots in his 18th Year (Nanban).
