5 CRORES LOSS WITH PREVIOUS FILM - ATHARVAA'S BREAKING MOVE!

Earlier this year, actor Atharvaa produced and starred in Semma Botha Aagathey directed by Badri Venkatesh of Baana Kaathadi fame. During the release period, Atharvaa went through some financial hiccups, which resulted in Mathiyazhagan of Etcetra Entertainments coming forward to help the release.

Due to Atharvaa's financial issues, the first two shows of Semma Botha Aagathey were cancelled. This resulted in a 5 crore loss for Mathiyazhagan who was one of the distributors. As a result, Atharvaa promised him that he would do a fillm free of cost within 5 crores to make up for the loss. 

Meanwhile, Mathiyazhagan had planned his next production with ARK Saravanan of Maragadha Naanayam fame. However, Atharvaa wanted to do a different film. But, Mathiyazhagan said that they could do ARK Saravanan's film and the issue was sorted out after discussing with Vishal, the president of the TFPC.

Now, this project has materialized and has been titled as Minnal Veeran. This film has Parvati Nair playing the female lead with D Imman's music and Deepak Menon's cinematography. Minnal Veeran will go on floors very soon.
