Shakthi Soundar Rajan debuted as a director with the film 'Naanayam' in 2010. After which he's strived to bring in new concepts in films. After making 'Naaigal Jaakirathai' (2014), he went on to make a slew of hit films including the first zombie film 'Miruthan' (2016) and a space film 'Tik Tik Tik' (2018) with Jayam Ravi.
His recent film 'Teddy' which starred Arya in the lead role was released earlier this year directly on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar and received positive response from audience. The latest update is that after 'Teddy', the actor-director duo is all set to officially reunite again and the shooting is expected to start from October 25.
Sources in the know have revealed that the movie will be a science-fiction action-thriller film. An official information, however, is yet to arrive from the makers. The cast, crew and other details are expected to be announced once shooting starts.
Arya was last seen in the horror-comedy film 'Aranmanai 3' which released in theatres on the festive date of Ayudha Pooja. The movie directed by Sundar C had ensemble cast which included Raashi Khanna, late actor Vivekh, Manobala, Sakshi Agarwal and many others.
