Arun Vijay was last seen as Thyagu in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, alongside Simbu, Arvind Swamy and Vijay Sethupathi. The actor is currently awaiting the release of his next film titled ‘Thadam’, directed by Magizh Thirumeni.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Arun Vijay shared about exciting incidents in Simbu’s birthday. He said, “After CCV’s success meet, I was happy to see Simbu in his birthday party. I had went there to meet him in person and convey my wishes. It was fun meeting industry friends at Simbu’s Red Theme party”.
Speaking about his film ‘Thadam’, he said “I am not acting as a police officer in Thadam. I will be seen in a double role though”. Arun Vijay was also very active during the relief work for the Gaja Cyclone.
Speaking about that, he said “The main reason I got down on the road to do the relief work was because during the Chennai Floods and other terrible calamities, I’ve been affected very badly, and I know the impact of the Gaja cyclone.” Besides ‘Thadam’, Arun Vijay also has films like ‘Saaho’, ‘Agni Siragugal’ and ‘Boxer’ in his kitty.
