Actor Arun Vijay is busy with the preparation of his upcoming film, Boxer, as the Thadam-star is currently undergoing mixed martial arts training at Vietnam. The film is directed by Vivek and the actor is paired opposite Ritika Singh for this film.
As mentioned, the actor is undergoing martial arts training in order to get into the skin of his character. And guess who the actor's trainer is. It is none other than popular actor Johnny Tri-Nguyen, who had played one of the antagonists in films like Tony Jaa's Tom Yum Goong and in Jet Li-starrer Cradle 2 the grave. Johnny Tri-Nguyen had also made his Tamil debut with the A.R Murugadoss-directed historical fiction film 7am Arivu which had Suriya and Shruti Haasan playing the lead roles. His character in the film, Dong Lee, was very well received by audiences and the martial artist had went on to star in films like the Atharvaa-starrer Irumbu Kuthirai.
