The teaser of Shankar's 2.0 leaked last morning, that was indeed shocking and totally unexpected. The film's art director Muthuraj took to his Facebook page, to share his feelings on this unfortunate incident.
 

He posted, "ஒரு திரைப்படம் என்பது பலரின் கடின உழைப்பை உள்ளடக்கியது. பலர் தங்களது வியர்வையையும், ரத்தத்தையும் சிந்தி, உறக்கத்தை தொலைத்து, உறவுகளை துறந்து காணும் கனவு .. எந்திரன் 2.0 டீஸர் முறையாக வெளியாகும் முன், சில கீழ்த்தரமான ஆட்களால் முறைகேடாக வெளியாகி உள்ளது. இது கண்டனத்துக்குரிய செயல் மட்டுமல்ல. வெட்ககேடான செயலும் கூட. இது போன்ற செயலுக்கு ரசிகர்கள் ஆதரவு தெரிவிக்காமல் இருக்க வேண்டுகிறோம். முறைகேடாக வெளியான டீஸரை இணையத்தில் பார்க்காமல் நிராகரிப்போம்."

The post is translated as, "A film consists of a lot of hard work put up by the entire crew. Every one of them works tirelessly, without enough sleep, and spending very less time with the family. This is everyone's dream. Before the official release of 2.0 teaser, due to some third rated people, the teaser has leaked. This is not just a bad, but a shameful act too. We request the fans not to support any kind of these leaks. Let us ignore the leaked teaser."
