POPULAR ACTOR’S BUNGALOW DEMOLISHED BY BMC. CLAIMS ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION

Arshad Warsi becomes the latest victim in BMC scanner. The actor who bought a flat in 2012 went for a renovation, and according to floor space index, the actor has allegedly constructed another additional floor for which BMC has issued a notice asking the actor to demolish the second floor within 24 hours of time. However, Arshad had failed to respond to the notice, and thus BMC carried out partial demolition on Monday, the 19th June.

BMC officials have also said that they would issue another notice to Arshad and his wife Maria Goretti, asking them for civic staff access to the bungalow to demolish the complete illegal construction.

When enquired about the issue Arshad told his legal team is working on the issue.
