Music composer A.R.Rahman has now collaborated with International musician and singer, Bishop Briggs, for his upcoming film, Love Sonia, directed by Tabrez Noorani.
Bishop Briggs crooned for a song titled, 'I am More', penned by lyricist Rianjali, in A.R.Rahman's music. This human trafficking drama marks the directorial debut of Tabrez Noorani, who worked as the line producer for Slumdog Millionaire. Debutant Mrunal Thakur plays the main lead, while many other notable stars like Freida Pinto, Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chaddha, Rajkummar Rao, Sai Tamhankar, are also part of the cast. The makers have scheduled to release the film on September 14, 2018.
In his recent statement, A.R.Rahman reportedly stated that, "Projects like these happen with a lot of good intention to propel positive changes in the society. It was a pleasure to work once again with Tabrez Noorani, this time as the director; Academy-nominated producer David Womark and the talented artist Bishop Briggs. I wish this project the very best!"
Talking about this collaboration with A.R.Rahman, Briggs was quoted as saying, "Love Sonia is more than a film; it’s a movement, a conversation and an opening into what’s actually happening in the world today. I feel so honored to be a part of what Tabrez has fearlessly brought to the light. Rahman is a complete icon and to have collaborated with someone who truly inspires me was an incredible experience I’ll never forget.
Tabrez and Rahman are legends and to have been able to work with them on something so special, that I know will make an imprint on the world, is something I am extremely grateful for."
