Yesterday, the Mersal team was spotted shooting some patch works at an IT park located near Thuraipakkam, Chennai. We were told that a Hospital scene was canned in yesterday's shoot.
Apparently, Vijay has completed his shoot and also dubbing work for the film. He is expected to take part in the 'poosanikai' ceremony which will take during the last day of the shoot.
Meanwhile, AR Rahman along with his Qutub-E-Kriba band has supposedly started work for Mersal's background score. The team is ostensibly thrilled to score the re-recording for a mass film like Mersal.
This news also comes in as a huge relief to Vijay and AR Rahman fans. AR Rahman as we know is extremely passionate with what he does and wouldn't like to compromise for the sake of a deadline. Now that Rahman has a solid 20-30 days time to work on the RR part, we could expect a fascinating final output from 'Isai Puyal'.
Baahubali and Mersal writer Vijayendra Prasad's next directorial Srivalli (Telugu) will be hitting the screens today. And while speaking to media during the film's promotion, the veteran writer revealed an exciting never-heard news.
He said, "At Mersal's audio launch, AR Rahman came to me and told me an one liner and asked if I could develop it? It is a great honour that he requested to do it, but I have not made any decision yet. Let's see."
AR Rahman is currently directing a virtual reality film Le Musk and he has also written the story for a Hindi film 99 songs. So is AR Rahman planning to make another film after these?
