APPA MAINTAINS IT STEADILY

Looks like director Samuthirakani’s father-son drama film Appa is having a good run at the Chennai box office.

Despite big releases like Sultan, Ice Age 5, this emotional drama has managed to retain most of its shows for the third week successfully. The shows have been steadily increasing as a result of a good feedback and positive word of mouth from public.

Though there are many horror films releasing, films like Appa are well received by the audience. It is a film which saw parents and children in movie theatres together, after a very long time. Appa is currently having close to 100 shows, which is an appreciable number for a film in its third weekend, and is expected to continue in this week too.
