AFTER KANCHANA, AKSHAY KUMAR'S ANOTHER SOUTH HORROR REMAKE FILM KICKSTARTS!

The movie kickstarts works today, on the 23rd of January. Announcing the same in his twitter handle, Akshay Kumar had also shared a picture. The movie will be directed by G Ashok, who earlier helmed the original project. Bhaagamathie told the story of the young sub-collector Chanchala IAS, who cleverly helps uncover the mystery behind Temple idols being smuggled. 

Earlier at the end of November 2019, Akshay Kumar announced this project and also mentioned that the movie will be titled 'Durgavati'. He also remarked that the movie will be presented by Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar and bankrolled by Vikram Malhotra. 

Incidentally, Akshay Kumar is also involved in the remake of yet another South Horror movie, but as an actor. Akshay will feature in the Hindi remake of Muni 2: Kanchana, which will be directed by Raghava Lawrence. The movie is titled 'Laxmmi Bomb'!.
