Popular director Anurag Kashyap has been a vocal critic of the government, and this time around, he took to Twitter and commented on the present situation. See for yourself here:
Lockdowns will keep going on.. they’re not going to stop. The government has no plan, no strategy and has no money either. It’s time for all parties, economists, scientists, corporates to come together, And find a workable solution. Initiative has to come from the PM himself .

Recently, Anurag had also commented on the demise of Irrfan Khan and had said, "Whether he was on the set or not, we almost always ended up discussing him and his craft... One of the finest actors this country has ever seen. May he find his peace..."
As far as the professional end of things are concerned, Anurag had directed one of the segments of the anthology, Ghost Stories, that premiered on Netflix alongside Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar. Unfortunately, it wasn't received as well as the quartet's previous collaboration, Lust Stories.
