During the audio launch of Vijay Antony's upcoming Annadurai, Producer Gnanavel Raja appreciated the efforts of the actor and compared it with a few other ongoing situations in the industry which are to be frowned upon.

"Three complaints have been filed at the Tamil Film Producers Council. One of them is about an actor, who never turned up to the sets of his film on time. He went on to wash his hands off the film that had been just completed just about 30% and asked the makers to release it. If they needed him more, they would have to wait 3 years, the actor says.

The producer's future is in question now, and this sets a bad example in the industry. We approached the artist on behalf of the producer and waited all night in vain. He has shot for a mere 29 days for the film. No actor in India is this irresponsible.

A top comedian who makes us all laugh has hurt a producer so much that the producer cannot even smile now. The council will definitely take action against these people. This shouldn't happen to any other producer again.

Vijay Antony, on the other hand, is very hardworking and dedicated. While 90% of the industry is made up of people like this, there are others who are irresponsible and inconsiderate of the producers who have shelled out so much money for them", he stated.
