She maybe just three films old but Anna Ben is quite the fan-favourite now. In her debut, Kumbalangi Nights itself, she took our breath away and consolidated her position further with Helen and Kappela. In a free-wheeling chat with Behindwoods, the pretty damsel discusses movies, her love for Chennai, the affection Tamil boys have been showering her and more.
On asked about pulling off her first-ever role with such aplomb, the pretty girl said that, right from childhood, she used to participate in stuff whether or not she was good at it.
She also spoke about her connection with Chennai and said that she used to travel before here, courtesy her cousins being here and was also all praise for Tamil being a beautiful language. Anna also let it slip that she’d be game for a Tamil project if it’s big and excites her. She also expressed a desire to learn the language.
Anna delved into shooting at -10ºC for Helen and said that she didn’t even wear a jacket except for a thermal under her costume. In between breaks, an assistant director used to wrap her with a blanket, she informed. By her own admission, she is surprised she pulled it off!
