Earlier in the day, we had reported about the list of Vijay’s films that were released for Diwali. There is one other interesting release pattern that needs to be looked at. Whenever Vijay has a Diwali release, on most occasions he would have had a Pongal release that year. This trend has happened in all years except on two instances in 95 (Chandralekha) and 2002 (Bhagavathi).
