Vikram Prabhu’s collaboration with Thagararu fame director Ganesh Vinayak is for the project titled Veera Sivaji. As we had reported earlier, it was speculated that Shamili, younger sister of Shalini Ajith Kumar, might make her Kollywood comeback after 15 long years (since Kandukonden Kandukonden) with this project. We hear that she is indeed part of the film, from strong sources close to the project.

Veera Sivaji will have cinematographer Sukumar, editor Ruben and art director Ilayaraja as its technical crew. The genre of the film is said to be comedy-action and the team is looking at kick-starting its shooting process from the second week of September at Pondicherry, though the initial plan was to start in mid-August.
