AMIDST NIRBHAYA WAVE, KARTHI RAISES CONCERN OVER THE POLLACHI CASE!

Welcoming this execution, most of the celebrities took to their social media and appreciated it although it was late. One among the celebrities was actor Karthi who took to his Twitter handle and has also raised concern over another such case.

He tweeted, “Finally justice for Nirbhaya after 8 years. Wondering how long it will take for the Pollachi case to find justice. It’s been a year already. Hope we don’t forget the lessons we learnt from it! Always stay safe. #NirbhayaCase.”

Almost a year back, a group of men from Pollachi were said to be arrested for luring several young girls in the name of love, gangraping them and then using the recorded video tapes of the acts to blackmail them for money. Later, these accused were released on bail. And reportedly, no further actions have been taken.
