As reported earlier in the day, Amala Paul has walked out of the historical Malayalam film Kayamkulam Kochunni. She couldn't work on the project due to date clash issue. Priya Anand has now been roped in to play her role.
Section of media reported that she was replaced by the makers for which Amala Paul has replied via Twitter, "FYI i wasn't replaced, i opted out because of date issues, i am not joblessely cooking up stuff 🤪"

Amala Paul is fresh from the release of her recent Susi Ganeshan film Thiruttu Payale 2 and there have been reports that she has stepped out of Nivin Pauly and Roshan Andrews’ film titled Kayamkulam Kochunni.
Sources confirm that Amala Paul has walked out of this historical film with Nivin Pauly that had her in a significant role. The latest is that actress Priya Anand has reportedly replaced Amala Paul in this role and that shoot for the film Kayamkulam... has started. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
