IT’S 3 ‘100 CRORE’ FILMS FOR THIS STAR!

Actor Allu Arjun’s recent release was Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ also starring Pooja Hegde and directed by Harish Shankar. Latest reports suggest that, this film has gone onto to amass 100 crores within it’s first week of release.

It is to be noted that Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram and Sarrainodu were also 100 crore grossers. DJ now becomes the third highest worldwide grosser for the stylish actor Allu Arjun. DJ has music by Devi Sri Prasad and has been produced under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

A 100 crore grosser in Bollywood is quite common but in South Indian cinema, apart from Baahubali, 100 crores is still considered a benchmark for big films. Some big stars who have been able to make this feat happen are Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun. With 3 films touching the 100 crore mark, Allu Arjun has been growing leaps and bounds with his Telugu market.
