May 1st marks the celebration of Maharashtra Day. Celebrities and famous personalities took to Twitter to greet the day. Particularly, Akshay Kumar who participated in a function held at a conclave 'Transform Maharashtra' as part of the 57th Maharashtra Day celebration requested the Maharashtra Government to build more small public toilets and to bring digital service through mobile application in locating the toilet booths for extensive utility.
Akshay Kumar explained the need for such basic requirements for citizens in the country and urged the state government to open more such defecation facilities to people in need. He is currently working on his upcoming film Toilet- Ek Prem Katha' which is based out of similar socio-cause about the need of public toilets.
It is an excellent gesture from the National Award winning actor and this demand from Akshay Kumar surely deserves an applause. We wish his vision comes to reality.
