FUNNY: HOW AKSHAY KUMAR AND SONAM KAPOOR REACTED TO THEIR NATIONAL AWARDS?

On 7th April 2017, the much expected 64th National Award winners were announced, and the result saw few new names who won the awards for the first time. One of them was the Khiladi of Bollywood who was named Best Actor Male for the movie 'Rustom.' Similarly, on the Special Mention, Sonam Kapoor was named for her performance in the movie 'Neerja.'

Co-incidentally both the stars are working together for 'PadMan' and expressed their feelings on their official page in social media. Sonam on her Instagram posted this photo along with Akshay Kumar and wrote, "Who would’ve thought!! Shocked and grateful!! All the way from maheshvar!!! #nationalawards #neerja #rustom @akshaykumar".

Akshay Kumar too took to Instagram and posted a video, shared his thought and added, "#NationalFilmAwards : Best Actor for #Rustom…countless emotions, very hard to express my gratitude right now but still tried, a big THANK YOU".
