THALA'S ADVICE!

Dance choreographer/actor Sathish who is being lauded for his performance in AYM got candid during a recent conversation with Behindwoods where he spoke about his working experience in Yennai Arindhaal with Ajith and also the response for AYM. The popular ‘adharu adharu’ track from Yennai Arindhaal was choreographed by him.

“I knew I was going to choreograph Ajith sir and I was prepared, but the moment I saw him on the sets, everything got blanked out.  I got nervous and did not know what to do. I was wandering the place, not wanting him to know about my nervousness.

Ajith sir called and said what are you doing? Are you nervous? I told him no, I am fine. He immediately told me that ‘I could read from your face that you are panicking. Even I am nervous, but see me, I don’t let people know that I am nervous’. That was an icebreaking moment for me. Thereon, I got the confidence to work freely with Ajith sir.”

“I feel very happy with AYM’s response. I had a good role and enough scope to perform. I should thank Simbu especially for giving me that space. I am watching AYM in theatre 3 times a day. I am consuming this experience like a tablet.”
