''MANY HEROINES WOULD NOT AGREE TO ACT IN A ROLE LIKE THIS'', AISHWARYA RAJESH

Aishwarya Rajesh won the Best Actress award for Kaakka Muttai (2014) at the Tamil Nadu State Government Film Awards, which were announced yesterday.
 

On this winning moment, Aishwarya has given an official statement on being awarded as the Best Actress. "Kaakka Muttai is one of the most precious and unforgettable films in my career. I always had the faith and belief in this movie when I was acting. Many heroines would not agree to act in a role like this, but I decided to try my hands at it, and I received accolades for that post-release. The film was also very well received.

I have now been honoured with the Tamil Nadu State Government Award, and at this point in time, I'd like to thank my director Manikandan who gave me this opportunity. Thanks to the audience and the Tamil Nadu Government for this motivation."
