Arunraja Kamaraj's debut directorial venture, Kanaa, starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj in the lead roles was a hit venture at the box office, which turned out to be a profitable outing for debut producer Sivakarthikeyan.
The success meet of the event happened recently at a private hotel in Chennai which was attended by the cast and crew of the film. In her speech, actress Aishwarya Rajesh took a dig at the fake success meet functions that happen in Kollywood, in a light hearted manner. However, it looks like that comment was not received well by certain section of people inside Kollywood.
The Vada Chennai actress took to her Twitter space to make an apology if her comment had hurt anyone. She tweeted, "Hi guys. It’ was jus a fun. Speech for #KanaaSuccessMeet I din. Mean. Any movie.
