Actor Ranjan Sehgal, who had featured in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda’s Sarbjit, passed away on July 11. As per reports, the actor breathed his last at a hospital in Chandigarh and died of multiple organ failure.
Aged 36, the actor had been unwell for a long time reportedly due to a long-term ailment that remains unknown. He has acted in several Punjabi theater productions and also in serials and films.
Ranjan was known for his roles in television serials such as Crime Patrol, Saavdhan India, Tum Dena Saath Mera, Bhawar, Kuldeepak and Gustakh Dil amongst others.
The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) paid a tribute to the late actor on Twitter, “#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Ranjan Sehgal (Member since Nov 2010).”
