For the unversed, this award is the highest honour for an artiste in Indian cinema. Honourable Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu presented the award to Rajinikanth and congratulated him.
Post which, now the Superstar has taken to his social media to share pictures of him and his wife, Latha meeting and greeting the President and Prime Minister of India. Sharing the pics, he wrote, “Happy to have met the President and Prime Minister, and received their congratulations and wishes.”

On the professional front, Superstar Rajinikanth is waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Annaatthe which is directed by Siruthai Siva. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is all set to hit the big screens on November 4. The film’s trailer is all set to release this evening at 6.
