Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed the nation last night and as a prevention form the deadly Coronavirus, 21 days of complete lockdown was announced keeping the current situation in mind.
Several celebrities and organisations have taken to their social media and had announced that they would provide all the necessary help to those in need. The multifaceted actor, Kamal Haasan, who made his political entry a couple of years back, took to his Twitter and expressed his opinions on PM’s last night’s address to the nation.
Haasan's tweet in Tamil roughly translates as "The government should think about where will the daily wagers go to fill their stomach during the 21 days lockdown and do not ignore their plight. This is not the time to help only the rich industrialists; small and medium industries have always saved our economy. Those who ignore them will lose their positions. This is history."
The actor had earlier penned an open letter to the PM urging him to take swift steps and provide monetary funds to support the people, who are in need to meet their daily ends. He also stressed that the Government should help the unsung heroes, who fights hard to power our economy and build the nation.
