Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsProducer Boney Kapoor, under his banner Bayview Projects LLP, had bankrolled the Ajith Kumar-starrer Nerkonda Paarvai, a legal drama that featured Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami, Andrea Tariang in central roles while Rangaraj Pandey, Arjun Chidambaram, Adhik Ravichandran and others played crucial roles.
Post which, he had announced that he would be bankrolling the upcoming sports drama Maidaan under the banner Bayview Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios, directed by Badhai Ho fame director Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
Maidaan depicts the golden era of Indian Football on screen, with Ajay Devgn portraying the role of former Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Priyamani plays the female lead of the sports biopic. The makers had announced that the film is all set to hit the big screens on 3rd June, 2022.
It must be noted that a couple of days ago only the makers of Thala Ajith’s Valimai announced as a big surprise that this upcoming film is all set to hit the big screens on Pongal 2022. Watch this space for more exciting updates!
