ACTRESS-POLITICIAN ROJA UNDERGOES TWO SURGERIES IN CHENNAI: DEETS
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActress-politician Roja has taken ill and is being treated at Chennai’s Apollo Hospital. She appears to have had two surgeries. Her husband Selvamani said that she is recovering well. Fans and party activists were advised not to worry about her health.
Roja represents the Nagari constituency in Chittoor district. She had traveled extensively for her party candidates in the previous Gram Panchayat and Municipal elections. She seems to have suffered from fatigue and illness, and was subsequently admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai.
Selvamani said that the hospital doctors performed two surgeries on Roja. He said that her health condition is good and she has been moved from the intensive care unit to the general ward. She would need to rest for some time.
Selvamani appealed that the doctors were strictly following covid protocol as the coronavirus cases are on the rise and said that none of the fans should come to Chennai to consult Roja in these circumstances.
