In connection with the ongoing tussle between FEFSI and Producer Council, Prakash Raj addressed the media today. A quote from his address:

“We only want to streamline the relationship between FEFSI and Producers Council. Wages will have to be paid commensurate with the work. We have never said we would not work with FEFSI technicians. We are just seeking our rights to work with the people who we want to. Selvamani sir is really working for the welfare of the workers there, but it looks like he has his pressures. We are not talking against workers. First, we want them to let us work. We are not here to grab anybody’s job. We are only asking for our basic right and producers are very clear on this”.
