There have been many speculations regarding the cast of 'Thala 55' right from the project's inception. Arvind Swamy was initially rumoured to be in the film but later the star himself rubbished the news away. Then Simbu was speculated to be making a special appearance in the movie for a song / dance sequence. Yesteryear lead actress Kausalya was also similarly touted to be in the movie in an important role.

 

Now we hear that Simbu and Kausalya have nothing to do with the film and that it is just the rumour mills at work again.
