We had reported earlier that, James Cameron’s Avatar 2 shoot had begun a week ago. The latest reports suggest that, Titanic actress Kate Winslet who had collaborated with James Cameron 20 years ago, will be back for the Avatar sequels.
Talking about Kate Winslet in the forthcoming Avatar films, James Cameron told Hollywood media, “Kate and I have been looking to work on something interesting, since our collaboration on ‘Titanic,’ which happened to be one of the most rewarding films of my career. I can’t wait to see her bring the character of Ronal to life.” It is going to be exciting to see the actress back with the legendary director after 2 decades.
Director James Cameron has reportedly started production work on all 4 of his Avatar sequels today after several supposed delays. The movies are said to be shot in a massive budget of $1 Billion as per reports.
The first sequel is expected to release on December 18, 2020. Reports also suggest that, plans for the release of Avatar 3, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5 are December 2021, December 2024 and December 2025 respectively as of now. A mammoth task at hand for the legendary director who is all set to churn out his science fiction film sequels one by one. It is to be noted that Avatar the film had released in December 2009.
