Actress Kangana Ranaut, a leading actress in the Hindi film industry, has captivated a wide audience with her performances in women-centric films. She is known all over India for winning four national awards for best performance. She made her debut in Tamil cinema with the film 'Dham Dhoom' released in 2008. She recently played the role of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the recently released film 'Thalaivi'.

Kangana Ranaut is currently awaiting the release of her spy action thriller 'Dhaakad'. Kangana plays a spy named Agent Agni in the film. She has changed the physique for this action packed character. Directed by Razneesh Ghai Kai, the film is set to release on May 20. This is the first female spy thriller film in Hindi cinema.
The actress was asked if she is just as ‘dhakad’ (tomboyish) in real life s her character. She laughed and responded, “That’s not how it is, come on. Who will I beat up in real life? I am unable to get married because of people like you spreading these rumours.” As the interviewer asked her if she was unable to get married because of the perception that she is tough, Kangana half-jokingly replied, “Yes, because rumours are spread about me that I beat up boys.”
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut has announced her next big movie "Sita - The Avatar". The film is set in the Epic Drama genre. Kangana Ranaut plays Sita. Directed by Alavik Desai, the film will be produced by SS Studio's Saloni Sharma.
