Veteran Actor, Director and popular theatre artist, the much respected Visu passed away today, March 22 (Sunday). He was 74 years old. He is said to have passed away due to health issues.
Meenakshisundaram Ramasamy Viswanathan was best known by his stage name Visu. He was not only a cinema field veteran, but was also recognized for his theatre work. His debate shows were one of the most watched shows on TV during their time. He was assistant to Director K Balachander before he first ventured into direction himself.
