Actor Vikram was last seen playing the role of a cop in the Hari-directed Saamy Square, which had the star play the role of a strict cop. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of Kadaram Kondan, an action thriller written and directed by Rajesh M. Selva.
Recently, the actor spoke about the film at the press meet and Vikram was in awe of Kadaram Kondan's producer, Kamal Haasan. He said "Whenever people ask me which film I would want to remake, I will always say 16 Vayadhinile and the role of Chappani. It was a beautifully rendered character. He (Kamal Hassan) had portrayed the role with so much maturity even in that period."
Vikram thanked the film's cast and crew of the film. He said "I was very attracted to the character and always wanted it to play in a distinct manner. My character in Dhruva Natchathiram is very stylish, and so does my role in Kadaram Kondan, but in a different way."
