Actor Vikram's recently released film Kadaram Kondan, an action-thriller directed by Rajesh M. Selva is garnering a favourable response amongst the audience. The film stars Abi Hassan, Akshara Haasan, Lena and others in crucial roles. Kadaram Kondan is loosely based on the French thriller Point Blank.
In a recent interview to a popular media channel, the actor opened up about a possibe Vijay-starrer that will be directed by Shankar. When asked about the audience expectations regarding another Shankar film with Vikram in the lead, he said "(It might happen) anytime between every 2-3 years. Now, he did a film with Rajini sir, next he will do a film with Vijay and then he will come to me."
He had also expressed admiration for Shankar's filmmaking style. Vikram had also revealed that he will be working in Malayalam cinema in the near future. The actor has signed up a slew of big-ticket projects which include the R.S Vimal-directed Mahavir Karna, Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan and Ajay Gnanamuthu's Vikram 58 to name a few.
