During the audio launch function of the film, actor Vijay praised Nayanthara for her acting choices and success. He said "They say 'Aram seiyya virumbu' (Have desire to do good deeds). But she had not only done Aramm, but does every film with desire. This is my third film with Nayanthara and earlier, including Sivakasi. There is a song called 'Kodambakkam Area', after the song, she had excelled in all areas."

He added "For a film about women who struggle for victory, it is natural to star Nayanthara (as female lead), since she had struggled and won."

On the technical front, Bigil features music composed by AR Rahman while GK Vishnu and Ruben handles the cinematography and art department respectively. The film is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment.
