Kannada actor Upendra, has reportedly announced that he would take the political route and his own new party has been called 'Karnataka Pragnyavantha Janatha Paksha' aka KPJP in short.
Reports suggest that he had inaugurated the party at Gandhi Bhavan in Bengaluru and that it would serve as a platform for people willing to contribute with ideas for the betterment of the society.
Upendra has said that it is the party for the people. According to reports, he has told a section of the media, “I have just created a platform for you. Those who are passionate about the cause can join me. It has always been my dream to make a change. Our work towards helping create a better society is important. Not the person who is working towards it. The bigger goal is what matters.”
He has also supposedly promised that there will be transparency that people would require at various levels to keep them informed at all times.
Director Vetri Maaran is right now involved in Vada Chennai but there were talks that he would be collaborating with Telugu hero Pawan Kalyan and Kannada star Upendra for a film.
When we checked with Vetri Maaran, the National award winning director stated that nothing is confirmed as of now and that he has to complete Vada Chennai first before he thinks of his next project.
As reported earlier, Vada Chennai will begin its second schedule by the first week of March. The film features Dhanush, Amala Paul, Daniel Balaji and others.
