The announcement of Vaadivaasal in the Suriya-Vetrimaaran-Thanu alliance was made last year. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the film ever since. The film is an adaptation of the novel Vaadivaasal, by Chi Su Sellappa.

Vaadivaasal Rehearsal

A test shoot for the film was recently held on the East Coast Road in Chennai and the photos went viral on the internet. Suriya, director Vetrimaaran and producer Kalaipuli Thanu were present during the filming. It seems that shots were taken of Suriya being a javelin thrower in the Test shoot. The test shoot was also attended by Karunas and actor Soori. The film also stars director Aamir in a pivotal role.

Suriya treats bulls
