"WAITING WITH HOPE.."- SATHYARAJ'S HEARTFELT VIDEO ON SURJITH
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActor Sathyaraj had recently expressed that Surjith, the two-year old who is trapped in a 90 feet deep borewell, will be rescued by officials in a recent video statement. He also said that the incident has pained him and conveyed hope that the child will be rescued.
On the wake of this incident, many celebrities, including actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have spoken about this issue as the rescue operations are in progress to save Surjith, with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have joined the operations while Health and Family Welfare Minister C Vijayabaskar has been camping at the spot since Friday.
The incident happened on Friday evening (25th October), when Surjith fell into the 600-feet borewell while playing near his house in Nadukattupatti.
