Naai Sekar, starring actor Sathish, is all set to air on Sun TV on April 14.
Leading Artist's Naai Sekar
Sathish, who is known for his comedy roles, made his debut as the lead through the film Naai Sekar. 'Cook with Comali' fame Pavithra Lakshmi too will be marking her silver screen debut through this film. Actor Mirchi Shiva dubbed for the dog character who is said the be the main character in the film. Produced by AGS, the film was shot by Praveen Balu and edited by Ram Pandian. MG Murugan worked as the art director of the film. The songs were written by Sivakarthikeyan, Vivek and director Kishore Rajkumar.
Shankar Ganesh as the villain
Shankar Ganesh, a leading composer of Tamil cinema, played the role of a viliian. George Maryan, 'Lollu Sabha' Maaran, Ilavarasu, Livingston, Manobala, Gnanasambandam and 'KPY' Bala also plays prominent roles in the film. Amidst expectations, the movie Naai Sekar was released on January 13 ahead of the Pongal holiday.
Plot
"The focus of the film is on what happens when a man turns into a dog and a dog into a man. From the beginning to the climax, the full length comedy will be a dog that will be enjoyed by all, from children to adults," the film's director announced at the film's release.
TV Premiere
Naai Sekar will be airing on Sun TV exactly three months after its theatrical release. The film will be telecast at 11 am on April 14 ahead of the Tamil New Year. Sathish has announced this on his social media page.
