We had earlier reported that Top star Prashanth is acting in the Tamil remake of Johnny Gaddaar. Now, the Jeans actor has officially announced the project through his social media page.

This remake has been titled as Johnny, co-starring Sanchita Shetty, Prabhu, Ananthraj, Ashutosh Rana, and others. This suspense thriller is directed by debutant Vetri Selvan, which has cinematography by M.V.Panneerselvam.
 

Interestingly, Johnny is the title of Superstar Rajinikanth's classic film, directed by the legendary Mahendran, which is considered as one of the gems in Tamil cinema.
