Aamir Khan’s Dangal overtakes Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 box office collections

On Sunday, 28th May 2017, it is reported that Dangal has overtaken Baahubali 2 at the box office collections and has become India's highest grossing film ever. Dangal which was screened in China a few weeks ago was well received by the audiences and said to have grossed a whopping Rs 850 crores at the China Box Office. Now, Dangal's total overall collection is approximately around Rs 1662 crores.

On the other hand, Baahubali 2 has grossed Rs 1623 crores until Sunday, this means Dangal has overtaken Baahubali 2 to become India's highest ever grossing film. Dangal is expected to continue its success streak at Chinese box office for some more days, and trade analysts predict, it is expected to mint Rs 1000 crores only from China market alone.

Interestingly, Baahubali 2 has not opened in China yet, and it would be good to see how Baahubali 2 performs in China. Will Baahubali 2 recreate its magic at the China box office and overtake Dangal again? Well, we need to wait and watch, but both these films are making Indian films popular across different countries.
